Veterinary Technicians

When Stacey joined Birchmount as a kennel attendant in 1987, she had no idea it would become as important to her as it has.  Her long career at Birchmount has allowed Stacey to experience all aspects of the animal field.  She is an Animal Health Technician, a Pet Stylist and have managed the boarding and grooming departments for many years.

Edit joined Team Birchmount as a Technician in 1998. Although she enjoys working in all aspects of the clinic from paper work to nursing, she especially enjoys the one on one care of the pets that she can provide. Edit has special interests in Animal Rehabilitation and Behaviour.

Joy is a graduate from Lakehead University with a BSc in Biology in 2002 and further went and did her Veterinary Technician program at University of Guelph at Ridgetown campus and graduated in 2005 as Veterinary technician. She joined the Birchmount family in 2006. Joy also has a keen interest in pet dentistry and also canine behavior. She plans to further her education in these areas and she also enjoys educating clients about the importance of home dental care.
