Dr. Stephanie Chen
|
As a child, Dr. Chen always had a natural attraction towards animals. Despite having cat allergies, whenever opportunity presented itself, she would insist on petting and playing with cats. When her mother said the family could not get a dog or a cat, Dr. Chen immediately suggested the family get a horse and keep it in their small back yard. Dr. Chen’s love of animals made her career choice easy and she followed her heart to the University of Guelph where she graduated from the Veterinary Program in 1993. Dr. Chen finds the greatest reward from her chosen profession when she can work with owners to ensure their animals receive the best care possible.
