Dr. Robert D. Pepper Jones, originally from Carbonear, Newfoundland, graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 1992. After practicing in Wallaceburg, Ontario for two years he started at Birchmount Veterinary Clinic.

While enjoying the many challenges that veterinary medicine has to offer, Dr. Jones is pleased to be playing a part in the good health enjoyed by many of our client's animal companions.

Dr. Jones is now a partner in the practice and will continue on as one of the two permanent staff veterinarians of the clinic.

Dr. Lisa Radchenko

Lisa radchenko

Dr. Lisa Radchenko, born and raised in Scarborough, graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph. As a result of her innate love for animals and thirst for knowledge, she chose veterinary medicine as a career.

Witnessing the human-animal bond on a daily basis and learning about the continual medical advancements in veterinary medicine makes this both a rewarding and exciting profession for Dr. Radchenko.

Dr. Stephanie Chen

As a child, Dr. Chen always had a natural attraction towards animals.  Despite having cat allergies, whenever opportunity presented itself, she would insist on petting and playing with cats.  When her mother said the family could not get a dog or a cat, Dr.  Chen immediately suggested the family get a horse and keep it in their small back yard.  Dr. Chen’s love of animals made her career choice easy and she followed her heart to the University of Guelph where she graduated from the Veterinary Program in 1993.  Dr.  Chen finds the greatest reward from her chosen profession when she can work with owners to ensure their animals receive the best care possible.

Dr. Julia Hammond

Dr. Julia Hammond decided to be a veterinarian when she was 4 years old. In 1991 she graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. She practised in Chatham, Ontario for 3 years before coming to Toronto.

Dr. Hammond loves woking with cats and dogs, but also welcomes guinea pigs, rats, hamsters and the occasional hedgehog as patients.
